E-commerce is the buying and selling of goods and services, typically online.

The most common form of e-commerce is shopping on the internet. The customer pays for the purchase using money that they have deposited with the retailer in advance, or by using a credit card, debit card or other payment method which connects them to their bank account .

A seller's market exists when there are more buyers than sellers; it may also be called a buyer's market when few people are selling products at any given time. Sellers typically have an advantage over buyers in this type of market because there is less competition from potential sellers.
